Application Guidelines

• Operating Instructions:

• Application Guidelines:
  • Wear appropriate safety glasses, gloves and protective clothing. Consult SDS for product safety information.
  • Shake can well prior to attaching the Dispensing Unit.
  • Screw can onto Dispensing Unit coupling until it will go no further. Do not over-tighten. It is important to align threads properly to prevent the possibility of leakage around misaligned threads.
  • Grip can and Dispensing Unit with both hands and shake well.
  • Adjust bead with Dispensing Unit regulator screw.
  • With the Dispensing Unit aimed into the appropriate receptacle, immediately pull the trigger to fill the barrel with chemicals. Any humidity remaining inside the Dispensing Unit will be removed with the extruded foam.
  • After prolonged work interruptions, shake the Dispensing Unit with the can attached before re-use.
• Changing Cans:
  • Completely emptied containers must always be replaced immediately by a new can. Never store a Dispensing Unit without a pressurized can attached.
  • Squeeze the trigger when unscrewing an empty can in order to depressurize the Dispensing Unit (point Dispensing Unit into appropriate waste receptacle). This will help to prevent backflow of material from the basket adapter.
• Cleaning, Storage and Repair:
  • When changing cans, always clean the basket adapter and other external parts thoroughly with cleaning agent. Use of petroleum jelly lubricant (not included) on the basket adapter after cleaning will help to prevent over-tightening.
  • The Dispensing Unit must always be stored with a pressurized can attached. (Note: Even after performing the Dispensing Unit flushing procedure, some residual material may be left on internal parts. For this reason, it is not recommended to store Dispensing Unit without a pressurized can attached.)
  • Holding the red spray activator aside, securely thread the cleaning agent can into the basket adapter of the Dispensing Unit. Do not overtighten.
  • Dispense out any remaining material by carefully squeezing the trigger until cleaning agent starts to extrude from the Dispensing Unit. Leave the cleaning agent inside the Dispensing Unit for 1-2 minutes to properly dissolve any remaining foam resin, then dispense into suitable container.
