Method of Application
For smooth and foam-backed carpets, use a 3/32" U-notch trowel. For deeply textured backings or rough substrates, use a 1/8" U-notch trowel.
30-40 minutes maximum
Surface must be dry and free of any material that may deter adhesion. Cut and fit all materials before applying adhesive. Apply adhesive using the proper trowel. Allow adhesive to set
up for 10-20 minutes. Lay goods into wet adhesive and seal all seams. For unitary and secondary backed goods, roll with a 75 lb. roller. For foam-backed goods, use a pushbroom or carpet tube to press goods into adhesive. Allow adhesive to dry well before exposing installations to cleaning water.
Clean tools and excess adhesive with water while wet. If adhesive has dried, use mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent in an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.
Keep from freezing. Adhesive is not freeze/thaw stable. Materials and adhesive should be kept at 70°F. prior to application. Air temperature should be at least 40°F. during application.
CAUTION: EYE AND SKIN IRRITANT. Contains diethylene glycol. Do not swallow. Do not allow eye contact or prolonged skin contact. First Aid: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact physician.
