Titebond 100% Silicone Sealant

Titebond® 100% Silicone Sealant is a versatile 100% silicone formula that is ideal for both interior and exterior applications. It offers excellent adhesion to many common construction materials, including vinyl, aluminum, glass and painted surfaces. It also provides a strong, flexible seal that offers excellent water-resistance. When fully cured, Titebond 100% Silicone Sealant can withstand extreme temperature conditions. It will not crack or become brittle with age and resists fading or yellowing. It also extrudes easily in lower temperatures and dries quickly. Application Guidelines

Application Temperature -40°F to 140°F

Service Temperature Range -60°F. to 350°F.

Method of Application Cartridge/caulking gun

Working Time Approximately 15-20 minutes for a 1/4" bead

Working Surfaces Surfaces to be caulked should be cleaned down to the original substrate, dry and free from excessive oil, grease, water, dirt or any other material that may prevent adhesion.

Cleanup Uncured material may be cleaned with mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions when using solvents. Once dry, must be scraped off.

Limitations

Do not apply if rain is expected within 12 hours. Titebond 100% Silicone Sealant should not be painted. The paint film will not stretch with the expansion of the caulk and the paint may crack or peel. Titebond 100% Silicone is not recommended for use on natural stone such as, marble, quartzite, granite as it can cause staining. CAUTION: EYE, SKIN AND RESPIRATORY IRRITANT. Contains acetoxy silanes. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not handle contact lenses with product on hands. Avoid contact with skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid breathing vapor. Use with adequate ventilation. First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes; contact physician. In case of skin contact, wash skin with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Contact physician if irritation persists. If breathing difficulty occurs, remove to fresh air.
