Titebond’s New Quick & Thick Multi-Surface Glue Bonds Wood and More

Titebond has introduced a professional-strength, multi-surface PVA glue that gives woodworkers a quick-setting, no-run alternative for a variety of woodworking needs. Although a staple for the shop, multi-surface Quick & Thick is also ideal for general home repairs and craft projects.

A new kind of Titebond sits alongside the familiar bottles of Titebond wood glues on store shelves: Quick & Thick Multi-Surface Glue, the first Titebond PVA glue developed to bond not only wood – but much more.

Titebond Quick & Thick is the thickest, fastest-setting PVA glue available for use with porous and semi-porous materials. It’s three times thicker than other PVA glues, so it’s easy to apply a dab to bond a small part, and it doesn’t run when squeezed onto a vertical surface. Triple thickness also makes it the perfect gap filler for imperfect joints and ensures greater flexibility for parts prone to movement, such as rocking horse joints.

It’s thick – and it’s quick. Quick and Thick has strong initial tack, an open time of three to five minutes and a set time of 15 minutes. It gives woodworkers sufficient time to realign pieces as necessary and yet sets fast enough to keep the project moving. It also dries clear, offers excellent sandability and is not affected by finishes.

Quick & Thick bonds wood with the best of the Titebond glues. Yet this PVA glue is equally effective for gluing ceramics, stone, glass, fabric, leather – and many other porous or semi-porous materials – making it ideal for uses beyond woodworking. It’s the superior PVA glue for crafting and a great multi-purpose glue to keep around the house for quick repairs or DIY projects.

Quick & Thick stands out as the first Titebond PVA glue for wood and multi-surface use – just as its silver bottle stands out from other Titebond glues on the store shelves. Distinctions aside, this premium-grade glue has been formulated to bring the same high performance to crafters and DIYers as Titebond wood glues have delivered to woodworkers through the years.

Titebond Quick & Thick is available in eight-ounce bottles at home improvement and woodworking supply stores in the U.S. For more information, woodworkers can visit www.titebond.com/quickandthick.
