Application Guidelines |

Application temperature Above 50°F. for adhesive and substrates

Method of application V-notch trowel 3/16" wide x 1/4"" deep, spaced 1/2" c.c.

Working time 30 minutes
Working surfaces Surface must be dry and free of any material that may deter adhesion. Cut and fit all materials before applying adhesive. Apply adhesive over entire back of panel. Spread no more adhesive than can be installed within 15-30 minutes. Position panel and press it against the wall. Bracing may be required. NOTE: If Titebond Trowelable is being used in conjunction with metal or plastic moldings, DO NOT fit the panels tightly into the moldings. Leave a small area in the molding for expansion. Store adhesive at room temperature (70°F.) for 24 hours prior to application.
Cleanup Clean tools with mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent in an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.

DANGER: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. VAPOR HARMFUL. Contains hexane. Keep away from heat, sparks or flame. Use only with positive cross-ventilation. Avoid breathing vapors. Do not swallow. Do not allow eye contact or prolonged skin contact. Uncured product can cause eye or skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated overexposure to solvent in uncured product can cause central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, eye, skin or respiratory system effects. First Aid: If dizziness or other adverse health effects are experienced, move to fresh air; contact physician if discomfort persists. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact physician immediately. If eye contact occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes; contact physician immediately. Wash skin contact areas with soap and water; contact physician if rritation persists. For additional information, refer to Material Safety Data Sheet.
