Titebond Wall & Floor Ceramic Tile Adhesive is a high-performance, latex-based adhesive for the installation of ceramic and mosaic tile. It is ideal for use over plywood, OSB, Gypsum wallboard, wonderboard, plaster and concrete.

Titebond Wall & Floor offers superior strength and water-resistance. It exceeds the performance requirements of the ANSI A136.1 Type I and II specifications. It also provides a quick grab for a professional, non-slip installation. It is nonflammable, easy to trowel and cleans up with water.

Method of application Use a 5/32" V-notch trowel for setting standard wall tile and ceramic and mosaic floor tile. For larger ceramic, vitreous and quarry tiles, use a 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/4" square-notch trowel.
Coverage 35 sq. ft. per gallon using a V-notch trowel; 20 sq. ft. per gallon using a square-notch trowel
Working time 30-40 minutes
Working surfaces Surface must be dry and free of any material that may deter adhesion. Score all painted surfaces.All tiling materials,room and adhesive should be above 50°F. for 24 hours before, and 48 hours after, installation. Apply adhesive to substrate using recommended trowel. Apply tiles within 30-40 minutes after spreading adhesive. Press tiles onto adhesive with a slight twisting motion. Beat in tiles with a rubber-faced beating block to assure complete contact with adhesive and to eliminate air bubbles. Tiles may be grouted in 24-48 hours.
CleanupUse warm, soapy water to clean wet adhesive from face of tile and tools. Remove dried adhesive with mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent in an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.

  • Limitations Not for exterior use. Do not use for setting fixtures on marble. Do not use over surfaces such as tempered hardboard, pressboard, epoxy terrazo and synthetic flooring (linoleum,asphalt and vinyl tile). Do not use for underwater applications or where excessive moisture exists. Do not use for floor applications of tiles larger than 8" x 8" or with lugs.
    Caution Statement CAUTION: EYE AND SKIN IRRITANT. Do not swallow. Do not allow eye contact or prolonged skin contact. FIRST AID: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact physician immediately. If eye contact occurs, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Wash skin contact areas with soap and water.
