Application Guidelines | |
Application temperature: 40°F. to 100°F. Service temperatures: -20°F. to 120°F.Method of application: Cartridge/caulking gunCoverage (maximum): Approximate length of bead according to bead diameter:
Working time: Approximately 10-20 minutes for a 1/4" bead6Working surfaces: Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from excessive oil, grease, water, dirt or any other material that may deter adhesion. Apply mastic to panel perimeters and on 16-inch centers or a criss-cross pattern to ensure maximum adhesion. Temporary bracing or nailing may be needed to improve contact until adhesive dries. Allow to cure overnight for maximum strength.Cleanup: Scrape off dried excess with a putty knife. Remove residue with mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor’s precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent in an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface. |

Titebond Projects & Repair is not designed for continuous submersion. Do not apply to polystyrene foam if temperature is 90°F. or greater. Do not apply over wallpaper. Do not adhere one non-porous material to another since this will slow or prevent drying. | ||||||||||||||||||||
