Application Guidelines
Uses
Heavy traffic areas for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial installations.
Carpets: Woven polypropylene, jute, latex unitary, foam and sponge rubber, polyurethane, hot melt, woven and hard unitary backings.
Tiles: Vinyl composition, asphalt, cork, rubber and figerglass polyester.
Resilient Sheet Goods: Mineral, felt, paper and rubber backings.
Substrates: Plywood, hardboard, association grade particleboard underlayments, felt lining, moisture and alkali free concrete and asphalt.

Floor must be clean and dry. Subfloor and materials are to be at least 65 °F., prior to, during and after installation. Cracks and uneven areas are to be filled and sanded smooth.

Carpet:
Use a 3/32" V-notch trowel for smooth and 1/8" U-notch trowel for deep textured backings, or very porous substrates. Open time is between 15 and 60 minutes to promote adhesive transfer. For hard to hold carpet or for adhering to sealed substrates, it will usually be necessary to allow extended open time until glue line becomes tacky to touch before laying goods. Employ a lightweight roller within one hour of installation.

Tile:
Use a 1/16" square notch trowel. Open time is between 30 minutes and two hours. Adhesive must transfer to tile backing in order to bond. Employ a 100 pound roller within one hour of installation.

Resilient Sheet Goods:
Use a 1/16" square notch trowel. Open time is 10 and 45 minutes. Adhesive must transfer to backing in order to bond. Immediately after installation employ a linoleum roller.

Cleanup:
Allow adhesive to dry well before exposing installation to cleaning water. Use water to remove adhesive spots and clean tools.
