Application Guidelines
Uses
Light and moderate traffic areas for residential, commercial and institutional installations.
Resilient Sheet Goods: Vinyl laminated with mineral, felt, paper and cellulose backings.
Substrates: Plywood, hardboard, association grade particleboard underlayments, and concrete (above, on or below grade in the absence of excessive moisture and alkali).

Floor must be clean and dry. Subfloor and materials are to be at least 65 °F., prior to and after installation. Cracks and uneven areas are to be filled and sanded smooth. Existing layered vinyl sheet goods are to be leveled with a cementitious agent prior to applying adhesive. Apply Franklin 730 with a 1/16" square notch trowel. Open time is between 10 and 60 minutes to promote adhesive transfer. Lift corners periodically to determine if adhesive is transferring to backing. Immediately after installation, roll with a linoleum roller, working from center to edges to expel entrapped air. For curled goods, allow adhesive to tack up to touch before laying goods in order to promote quick adhesion.

Cleanup:
Use water to remove adhesive spots and clean tools.
